How to Prepare

  • Before

    here are some preparation tips for beforehand:


    -Stay hydrated
    -eat well & Nourish your body ( it will be in healing mode after your session)
    - avoid blood thinners, alcohol, large amounts of caffeine, & aspirin
    Exfoliate & Moisturize regularly; especially the week before your session.
    -get a good nights sleep

    **antibiotics/steroids notify your artist if you are currently prescribed

  • Tattoo Day!

    Eat a well rounded breakfast with protein and carbohydrates. This will help you to sit through your session easier.

    Wear comfortable clothing that you can stretch or bend in with ease. Some positions for getting tattooed are not the most comfortable with restrictive clothing.

    Here is a guide for what to wear for different tattoo locations:

    Be sure to bring any items with you for your own comfort:

    -water
    -snacks
    -headphones
    -Chargers
    -a book/ kindle
    -blanket / pillow
    -Jacket or change of clothing

  • Aftercare

    Be sure you have all of the aftercare items you need for a wonderfully healed tattoo.

    We currently sell a selection of tattoo aftercare items in the studio, if you would like to purchase them at your session!

    -Antibacterial Unscented Soap (Mad Rabbit Tattoo Wash, Dial Gold, etc.)
    -Ointment (Aquaphor, Mad Rabbit Tattoo Balm, etc.)
    -Lotion (Mad Rabbit Tattoo Lotion, Aveeno, etc.)
    -Extra Bandages ( Saniderm, Recovery Derm Sheild, Tegaderm etc)
